A longtime fan of the original Bizet/Borne work for solo flute and piano - I thought that it was a little too long, and needed a bit of filling out - especially with the Gypsy Dance - which was originally a two flutes theme in the opera. 

So this inspired me to arrange a cut down "four minute special" of the much loved work for flute duet and piano accompaniment.
