A Contemporary Celtic fantasy. for Flute & Piano. The idea was to make a modern equivalent of Hamilton Harty’s “In Ireland” - creating a new Irish themed fantasy for the 21st century!

A broad, expansive opening, followed by a 12/8 jig in both minor and major. A short “epic interlude” then introduces a gutsy, explosive reel.

Including a curated selection of extended techinques and cool, Irish fingerings - this piece’s purpose is to give that “Riverdance” finish feeling - hopefully with an explosively popular reaction from your audience!
